Studenthouse Horizon.
In the project Horizon, we are looking for students who are interested in the spiritual dimension of life.
In this project we are bringing together students who are spiritually seeking. To that desire we want to give food, give them some support and we want to help them in the search for what the Christian faith can mean in life. Doubt and ambiguity are part of it. It is thus a path of distinction towards what is of value in life. For young people no obvious choice. That is why we bring together like-minded and we are strongly committed to community formation. Every tuesday evening we come together in prayer, then we eat together and afterwards we will talk to each other. That is the engagement for everybody who want to participate at the project. In a letter you can explain your motivation. How do you experience spirituality and how you want to give this a place in your life. What have you done in the past, what way do you want to go spiritually, what are your doubts and what is your desire?
You can also take a look to our website : www.kerknet.be/horizon .
“It is has a taste of celebration to see so many young adults together in all their diversity It gives us a great hope that it is possible for all humanity to live in peace.” Brother Alois , Taizé

1) A flat with a social commitment.
At the social commitment rooms, students make a commitment to organise a solidarity action twice per academic year. To this end, we meet several times to make arrangements and prepare the action. Everyone contributes according to his or her talents. They are of course present at the consultation moments and the activities themselves. We do these actions to support organisations that help people in need.
In each room there is a shower, a toilet and a sink.
